Mawlana Nizam Ashraf
Mawlana Nizam Ashraf is the grandson of Sadr ul Ulama Allamah Sayyid Ghulam Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him; he is a well-educated and accomplished scholar in the field of Islamic Sciences. He spent several years studying the traditional Islamic sciences in the UK and India under the guidance of esteemed teachers such as Shaykh Mufti Ayub Ashrafi, Shaykh Mufti Qamar Alam Ashrafi, and Shaykh Anwar Ahmad al-Baghdadi, amongst others.
He was blessed with the privilege of receiving an Ijazah, a certification of competency in Islamic Scholarship and also Khilafah, which is permission, in the spiritual Chishtiyyah Ashrafiyyah Order. Currently, he is serving as the Head-Imam at Masjid e Ghosia, a mosque in the community of Bolton, where he leads the Friday prayers and is also responsible for providing religious guidance to the community. He also teaches the advanced studies class at Madrasah Ghosia, an Islamic school where he passes on his knowledge and understanding of the Islamic sciences to the students. He is playing an essential role in the community by spreading the knowledge of Islam amongst the masses.
